Spartan 3 Noble 6 is one of 2 Spartans to EVER get classified as “super lethal”. The other? Spartan 2 Master Chief. Thats why Cortana trusted herself with him. Its rumored he made it off Reach after the Covenant sent an entire army to kill one Spartan rather than glass the planet and move on because they respected him as a true warrior.

Two other animated shorts from Star Rail I recommend watching are "Monodrama" and "Your Color", in that order. Monodrama is about the girl (Sparkle) with the mask and the fish, and Your Color is about Acheron, the girl that demolishes Black Swan in her memory. The art is striking, and the music is superb.

I think halo is at its best when you're on the ground in a hopless situation, seeing the destruction and pain all around you makes you so motivated it really feels like you're fighting for something. Thats why reach and odst are untouchable.

I would say halo and mass effect trilogy are the two best single player games series I have played.

Black flag is the best from naval battles to pillaging island villages,boarding ships etc. Having lots of fun in the wide sea than the land 😂😂

18:05 As a long-time Halo Fan, Like H2 & H3 were the video games that got me addicted to playing video games when I was 7. Based on the overarching story, Halo is not the ultimate trilogy. Still, because of the groundbreaking arena fps multiplayer, it's the most enjoyable & replayable trilogy in gaming. But Mass Effect's trilogy is hands down the best trilogy of games in the story department. I played Mass Effect for the first time last year & I've played the entire trilogy three times now in almost two years and thoroughly enjoyed all 196 hours of game time I've logged in.

The only other Trilogy that I think comes close to Halo 1-3 is Gears of War 1-3.

This show did a lot of interesting thing, but the original Nickelodeon show did great character work. The dialogue in this is awful for the most part.

I know I'm a month late but had to throw this in about why we follow Raynor, Kerrigan, Zeratul and Artanis specifically and it's all due to SC1's method of storytelling. These were characters we met and literally worked along side with throughout SC1 and Brood War. Your role in the game and universe is to command forces with these characters either fighting along with you on missions or advising you via pre-mission dialogue. They talk to you the player directly and make you a part of their world. In SC1 Episode 1: you led the forces side by side with Raynor and Kerrigan. You brought Arcturus Mengsk to power. When Mengsk ordered the retreat from Tarsonis not only did he betray Kerrigan and Raynor but you as well. The "commander" that Kerrigan calls for in the New Gettysburg cutscene back in WoL is you. In Episode 2: you lead the Zerg forces that protected Kerrigan as she mutated into a Terran Zerg hybrid. You led the invasion of Aiur and brought the Overmind to carry out Amon's will. Episode 3: you led the Protoss force that was tasked with finding Tassadar. You were the one that sided with him to search for Zeratul. You led the battle to destroy the Overmind and halting Amon's plans commanding both the Protoss and Raynor's forces (Granted this was retconned to be Artanis so you pretty much were Artanis before he was actually introduced in the Brood War expansion)

28:01 it's not just you, the stories get progressively weaker after Black Flag. I remember the older games as clear as day, the newer ones I forget two minutes after finishing them. To be fair, I don't remember Black Flag all that well either, but I know it's a fan favourite so I won't walk all over it just because it wasn't up my alley.

I really hope they didn’t just cherry pick a historical character and put them on a pedestal for the sake of social points. If the story is solid and gameplay is cool and sticks to the norms of the time it should be solid.

I'm in the camp of why make a game about Japanese lore/history where one of the main playable characters isn't Japanese. Why would I wanna play a samurai game where I'm not playing a Japanese person as the samurai. I don't care if there's actual historical precedent for the character. They made a game about feudal/bushido-era Japan and *this* is the protagonist they choose? There are so many better choices. As an aside, the fighting sequences did look really sick.

Late as fuck and someone may have already mentioned it, but you asked what happened to the girl near the end when it zoomed in through her eye and she vanished into blue smoke. You should take another look at the end there and pay special attention to the Warframes when the lotus says 'Then they left' and what comes off of the Warframes. I don't want to spoil any further in case anyone who has not played yet reads this, but so long as you have played through the quests "Once Awake" and "The Second Dream" you should be able to make the correlation.

for those who do not know, the black samurai is yasuke the first black samurai in history he arrived in japan after becoming a slave then becoming the body guard to said owner who was one of the main traders to japan when they arrived one of the unifiers of japan and was traded and as the first african they saw he was valued and became essentially a noble and samurai, do the rest of the research there is a whole video by a lighskin bald guy on yt only 13min and tells his story

the end of the game you fight there until you die. there is no end to the amount of covenant that come, you just fight until youre out of ammo, and then you pick up their guns and keep fighting. and after playing the entire campaign, spartan emiles death, at least for me, was the final straw for little 13 year old me, i was angry, i was hateful of the covenant. i was there for what felt like an hour fighting the the bitter end in the name of noble team. but there is no end, and eventually you die. noble 6 is dead. noble team was lost on reach.

i still cry when i see georges big moment. each of the spartan 2s is so special and important in their own way. its really hard to lose them. its like watching batman, or thor die, permenantly, no redos, no coming back. there are a limited number of these special people and they are dwindling

History nerd here. Alot of people have been accusing Ubi of being woke . I think people get confused about what a Samurai is. A Samurai isn’t just some foot soldier in a Yoroi that battled in skirmishes or war. A Samurai covers a broader term, as body guards & security were also considered Samurai. Yasuke, the black protagonist seen in the trailer, was indeed a real life black Samurai. And may have been the first black person to set foot in Japan during that Era (technically the Ainu people, the first settlers of modern day Japan were also black but thats a history story for another time.) How do we know this? Yasuke has been recorded in history by one of Japan most well known history figures Oda Nobunaga, in the Chronicles of Lord Nobunaga (Shinchōkōki) which dates back to early 1581. He was also mentioned in many letters or diary’s from other Japanese locals, nobles etc most famously Matsudaira Ietada. As well as travellers from abroad such as Luis Frois & Lorenzo Mesia. I wont got too deep into the lore of Yasuke as i assume the game will explain his story, but he did participate in the battle at Nijo Castle in 1582 as a Samurai against the Akechi forces. Also the least historical accurate thing about this trailer, is a female ninja (shinobi).

i dont think the majority of us care about the cinematography of the halo show. they could have had midas himself touch every shot to turn it to gold, it still wouldnt make the disregard of source material acceptable.

"i didnt think the covenant take hostages" they usually dont. they did alot of things different on reach, its the only reason they won. we underestimated their ability to adapt and respond. wed still be training startan 3s on reach had we been more prepared and diligent about "raider attacks" by this point we knew what the covenant were, we just didnt anticipate them finding a key station of ours so quickly.

I do apologise but before doing this you should have some deep researches ....first of all, put the games in order. The worst mistake was with oddisey ( gathering couple of shity gameplay moments doesn't make a cinematic) and you should realised that just watching it

Yep, Yasuke existed, so it's not out of the question that he could be a character in this story without too much historical inaccuracy. That being said... Do we know it's him? As far as I've read, Yasuke was by far not the only African man in Japan at the time, but he was the only one in such a position, so it's very likely that it's him being portrayed. Is it a high profile historical figure to portray Yasuke, a one-of-a-kind foreign retainer for warlords at the time? Absolutely. For those saying Yasuke was never actually a samurai, but more a retainer to Nobunaga, you may be right to say such specific things, as it's a very specific person. I haven't read a lot about the specifics of the historical figure. The question now is, which Assassin's creed game has ever actually not been historically inaccurate? Without diving into tons and tons of examples, the first one that comes to me is Assassin's Creed 2, where you simply go to Leonardo Davinci to engineer you assassin tools and engineering marvels. You and Leo become buds, he sympathizes with your position against the Templars, and he pretty much does whatever Ubisoft wanted him to do in the story of Assassin's Creed. That's a pretty high profile figure in history, being portrayed extremely inaccurately, simply for the reason that he was known for being an exceptional experimental engineer and visionary, and they wanted a vendor for your player to get their gadgets. For those saying it's a "woke thing," that's totally fair, and it's a bit sad that the first thing we go to nowadays is to suspect stories going out of their way to do this and tarnishing the goals of inclusivity. I think that's down to the vapid nature of what I call "corporate inclusivity," where big companies insert diverse characters not because it is good, or it is a nice choice for an intriguing and compelling story, but more to receive applause for doing so, and generate debate(free marketing) around the choice being controversial. I've seen the world and modern audiences become more and more distrustful of these roles, and I think corporate inclusivity's disingenuous use is to blame. And when it comes to replacing minority characters that we'd expect with other minority characters, is it really a diversity choice for the story? When is it no longer politically incorrect to ask, "Why not have the character simply be a completely original Japanese samurai, and not a foreigner with an actual place in history in our assassin story about Feudal Japan? We just wanted Assassin's Creed with Shinobi in it." I will say, if it really must be Yasuke, and not a completely original Japanese samurai character, it better be damn important to the story. It better be a tangled web between the Assassin's Creed story and Yasuke's historical place among Nobunaga that makes him absolutely pivotal and further our main character shinobi's story (yeah, let's not forget there's a main character amongst our debate about the black samurai). Otherwise it's just a "hey wouldn't it be cool if-" corporate inclusivity situation. As a minority mixed race person, I do look forward to the time that we stop swinging so far in one direction (companies giving the go-ahead to go way out of the way to make "inclusivity motivated" character roles) so we can just see a character that is a character, and stop distrusting what they are, and thinking they're a statement.
